I would definitely
recommend this property. There was great communication
from the owner from the beginning to end of booking. The
apartment was clean and had everything we needed for an
enjoyable week. We enjoyed our meals on the balcony, the
view was great with a variety of ships/boats in and out
from dawn to dusk. The children enjoyed playing on the
inflatable's in the bay climbing on the iceberg and
jumping off and also snorkelling. The information books
and leaflets in the apartment on the local area were
useful and Dave who collected us from the airport gave
us a warm welcome
and some local info too. We used ferries and buses to
see some local towns and a neighbouring island and I
would get a car next time to travel further afield. The
village shop provided us with the basics and ice creams
were good from the beach. Pula was interesting
especially the amphitheatre, Thank you for making our
stay very comfortable. We hope to return.

Perfect
apartment
for
exploring
the Istria
region.
The huge
terrace
is
absolutely
wonderful! A
perfect spot
for
breakfast in
the morning
with a clear
view of all
the
activities
on the
Adriatic
Sea, and
relaxing
with a glass
of
Rosé
watching the
sun settle
in the cool
evening.
The immediate surroundings had all the basics we needed. A local rocky coastline with exciting snorkelling opportunities sufficed for the day and restaurant in all price classes for evening activities By renting a bike we got to Pula and other very nice beaches nearby. With a car the whole Istria with it's blend of Italian and Croatian culture was within half a days reach. We would recommend this apartment for an active vacation where the base has to be comfortable, or just for staying at the terrace reading, sunbathing and really get down into idle mode.

The Nearest
Closer to home, within a couple of minutes drive from the apartment is the Verudela peninsular which has some lovely beaches and great walks along the headland, plus from here you can partake in sporting activities such as diving, tennis, volleyball and squash or hire a pedalo, jet-skis, or boat. There is also an aquarium and plenty of playgrounds for younger guests. Istria has so much to see that car hire is highly recommended to allow you to discover some of the gems that this unique and wonderful region has to offer.
The Pjescana Uvala apartment is a 10 minute
drive from Pula airport, which is serviced by Ryan Air, Thomson
fly, Monarch and Croatian Airlines. Easyjet also fly to Zagreb
which is a 3 hour drive from Pula. It is also possible to arrive
by ferry from Venice at Pula, Porec and Rovinj. Alternatively
there is Trieste airport in Italy which is 2 hours by

Under Croatian law all guests to Croatia must pay a Tourist tax which is approximately 1 euro per day per adult, under 12s are free but still need to be registered. The apartments representative will help you with this on arrival.

This is a
very well equipped apartment which meant that
the cook amongst us could create great meals
when we were too lazy to walk down the road to a
restaurant - recommend Blenska by
the way!
Dave, the local support,
was
fantastic, a mine of info and help, especially
when one of us was taken ill. We found lovely
places to swim, the local supermarket produces
surprisingly yummy bread for breakfast and
although the car was a real advantage you could
happily spend time doing things within walking
distance. The stairs up to the apartment keep
you fit and next door's cat is a charmer! We
would happily recommend this apartment to our
friends. Thank you!

Fantastic apartment,
great view, relaxing
holiday. The
apartment was fantastic
– a home from home.
It is well equipped,
spacious and comfortable
and we quickly felt at
home. We all slept
comfortably (5yo slept
well in the cot). The
kids enjoyed the
spacious living room and
balcony, and we all
loved the beautiful
view. Being able to walk
down to the pebbled
beach was also great.
We would recommend this
apartment for:
- an active vacation where the base has to be comfortable e.g. for visiting old towns in Istria, cycling, walking around area or Kamenjak - very relaxed idle time, e.g. enjoying the view, reading on the balcony, sunbathing Dave was great. Met us on time etc, gave us an intro to the area/appt & an excellent tip for a restaurant. Thanks for the apartment Josie
